Animals in the Grasslands
Due to the open and uncovered nature of grasslands, predators are much easier to spot, giving the smaller animals that chance to run away and hide. The animals that live in grasslands have adapted to dry, windy conditions. Animals that you can expect to find are zebras, rhinos, lions, and elephants.
Plants in the Grasslands
Most of the plant life in the grasslands are grasses. They include blue gramma, buffalo grass, big blue stem, switch grass and little blue steam just to name a few.
