Animals in the desert
Many desert animals tend to be nocturnal, sleeping during the day and coming out at night when the temperatures are more tolerable. For example a camel can drink very large amounts of water in one day or survive a relatively long time without drinking any water. The different types of animals in the desert are: tortoises, snakes, camels, and insects too like scorpions.
